First impressions are important in business – in life in general. By making your site visually appealing, you’re creating a reason for people to stay on your site – and find out more about what you offer.
Design doesn’t just mean putting your brochure online. Customers expect more. It might be getting to know more of your story – or seeing your business in action – often through visuals such as photos and videos. If these are presented in an attractive, easy-to-view way, chances are they’ll be back for more.

Where do we start? It’s all about you and what you want to do online. We make sure that our designs are consistent with the ethos of your company, and your aims. We ask you about websites you like, to help establish the look and feel for your own site.
Websites with responsive layouts have fluid design structures enabling their layouts to automatically display differently according to the size of the screen it is being viewed on. Typically this means when viewed on a smartphone, the website will contain the bare-essential elements arranged for optimum viewing usability and when viewed on a larger screen, the elements on the website will be re-arranged to fit that screen to fill up the large screen space and more elements may be added. This is known as progressive enhancement.. For example on a smartphone the sites links may be displayed as a small drop-down list which can be tapped with a finger yet the same website when viewed on a laptop displays the site links spread out along the top of the page, making use of the large screen space.

The success of a website design is not a one-way process, rather it has to be two ways. Generally, only web designers are held responsible for any delay or unacceptable completion of the website while there may be some cases in which both the parties (client and the web designer) had miscommunication between them or the web designer was not provided with the appropriate material to finish the website on time & without any bugs. In the next few slides,I have shared few checklists that every client must provide their web designer to ensure that the website design job is completed efficiently and on-time.
In most of the cases of website design failure, there has been a common factor that is found-Inadequate supply of exact design needs. When the clients fail to provide accurate design requirements to their web designer and in the midst of web design process, they send modified requirements or additional features which they might have missed in the original specifications,it is likely that the project will not be completed on time. Therefore, every businesses must first lay down all the required features & functionalities which they expect on their websites in order to avoid any conflicts or delays.

High resolution graphics and images play important role in the success of any website design. Therefore, all the businesses must make sure that they should provide the web designers with all the necessary high resolution images that align with their business interests.Alternatively, web designers can also help the clients to search & purchase the images for them. The idea is just to have all the images shortlisted and approved by the client during the process of web development and before the final delivery of the website. This process will prevent any possible delays in completion of website.
All of us must realize the fact that the clients are the masters of their businesses and not the website designing. At the same time, web designers are the masters of their niche and not the clients’ business. Therefore, every business/client must make sure to supply necessary brand guidelines to the web designers because they understand their business well than any other person.I have experienced in many cases that the delays were happened due to the wrong interpretation of business branding by the web designers which caused not only delays but also lots of errors and iterations. The brand guidelines may include logo contrast & colors, font style, layout colors, hyperlink colors, image styles etc.

Last but not least, every web designer must make sure to get the budget and deadline of the website completion from their clients. Every business has a limited spending budget for each activity to run their business and same is the case with website designing too. Therefore, the clients must provide with the web design budget & deadline information to their web designers to avoid any chaos during or after the website completion.
